Waterfall Hike

Derek made the 2 mile hike in the white tanks regional park. This is the first time we all had went even though it is literally right in our backyard. Arizona is beautiful in the Spring!!

Go Wildcats-Elite 8

Derek really enjoyed painting a banner and watching the wildcats in the tournament. They did an amazing job even though they got beat by UConn in the elite 8.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Bonzo and Derek are all smiles even though they are too young to drink! Derek has his shamrock Cubs hat on and Bonzo his spring break t-shirt!

Spring Baseball and Spring Training

Derek was finally old enough to start baseball (5) and he loved that too!! He is the one hitting and out in the field in ready position! They got to play on the the practice fields of the KC Royals and Texas Rangers (Surprise is their Spring Training Home)!! We got to go the first Spring Training game on an outing with our neighborhood. The field is absolutely gorgeous and kid friendly too!!

Bonzo During the Holidays

Couldn't resist posting this of our dog Bonzo during the holidays. He did not want to miss any of the action so he decided to take in the view from our "best zebra chair."

Christmas Baking with the Neighbors

The neighbors invited Derek over to bake and he came home with these mice and homemade dog treats!!

We Love Halloween!!

Derek loves to decorate and has us get the halloween decorations out the first week in October. The holiday lasted all month as he decorated cookies with his friend, went to the neighborhood boo bash, and finally trick or treated!! He was exhausted after everything!

Fall Soccer

Derek was finally old enough (5) to start soccer! He absolutely loved it. He is quite the runner and scored many goals for his team the Tigers!!

Night Before Kindergarten

Derek spent the night before kindergarten looking through all his preschool crafts. They did do a ton!!

Summer Before Kindergarten

We spent the day at the wildlife world zoo and aquarium which is literally 5 minutes from our house!! Derek enjoyed eating right next to the shark aquarium and looking at the white alligator!
